We are the home of Go (Baduk / Weiqi) in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

Go is an ancient Chinese game that is played all over the world. Maybe you have heard of Go from reading the news, when Google’s AlphaGo defeated some of the best players from Japan, China and Korea? Or maybe you know the game from the popular anime, Hikaru No Go.

Well anyway, we are excited to have you here! We are a friendly bunch of Go players who are more than happy to teach complete beginners to the game. The club has a variety of playing strengths, so you will get a good game whatever your level, and we have been meeting regularly now for over 10 years.

We have plenty of stones and boards to go around.

Tuesdays 7pm-11pm
The Dice Cup
68-70 Mansfield Road

You don’t have to stay for the whole time – come and go as you like. Please note: we charge £2 per player, half of which goes to our hosts The Dice Cup, and half of which goes to the Club to pay for equipment and prizes. Where else can you get 4 hours of quality entertainment for less than the price of a coffee?

Our Facebook Group is where we hang out, so click the link and add yourself to the group!

You can also visit the British Go Association website to learn more about the game.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
